Education
Bobbi will oversee District Development and Education, while continuing in her role as 4th Vice-President, a position she was appointed to in 2009.
Bobbi began her career in nursing as a nurse’s aide when she was 17, and retired as a registered nurse educator. As a childbirth educator, Bobbi created courses for pregnant teens and for expectant fathers. She served as Decatur Memorial Hospital’s documentation committee chair for five years, creating courses on legal documentation and serving as an expert witness in cases that deal with nurse / legal situations.
In 2001, Bobbi worked with former Senator Frank Watson to acquire funding for a sidewalk to provide safe access to the Salem North Baseball Complex. She was Marion County Coordinator for Senator Dan Rutherford’s campaign during the 2006 election. She is a member of the Illinois Legislative Action Committee.
A Marion County precinct committeeman, Bobbi is also an ambassador to the Salem Republican Women’s Club. Bobbi also has served as sergeant at arms and Region 6 co-director for the IFRW.
