2009 was a busy year for our new 2nd Vice President. During the first part of the year, Pat came on as a legislative aide to Rep. Darlene Senger.  The second part of the year she transitioned to work on Rep. Senger’s re-election campaign.  In October, she was elected to the IFRW executive board, and decided to step down from her duties with Rep. Senger so that she could devote her full attention to the IFRW.

As 2nd Vice President of the IFRW, Pat is in charge of membership and fundraising. She brings years of experience to that role. As the former executive director for the Barrington Area Council on Aging, Pat’s duties included grant writing and fundraising.

In past years, Pat spoke on behalf of United Way of Lake County for their speaker’s bureau, and served as the Diversity Fund chairwoman for the Sun-Sentinel newspaper in Broward County, FL. She is past president of the Naperville Area Republican Women’s Organization, and has held the top post in the Barrington Kiwanis Club. Pat also is on the board of directors at NCTV17 in Naperville. Currently Pat is also the president of the new women’s lacrosse program at Waubonsie Valley High School.

Pat’s Republican roots run deep. She volunteered for George Bush’s campaign in 2004, and for Senator John McCain’s presidential run in 2008 in Florida.  She is a precinct committeeman in Naperville Township and has volunteered for countless campaigns in the Naperville area.  Pat has also been campaign manager for several campaigns.

Pat is a member of the Illinois Roundtable and is participating this year in the Illinois Lincoln Excellence in Public Service Series.
She is a past member of the Illinois Republican Roundtable and recently attended the NFRW Campaign School in
Orlando.
