This is Cheryl Towne’s second term as Treasurer of the Illinois Federation of Republican Women.

Cheryl received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Illinois, a master’s degree in Gerontology from Eastern Illinois University, and completed Legal Nurse Consulting post graduate.

She is president of Vermilion County Republican Women, a member of the National Federation of Republican Women's Americanism Committee, an Iroquois District United Methodist Women Education and Interpretation District Officer; and a Parent Aware Committee member of HALO Project Women, Provena United Samaritans Medical Center.

Her past community activities include District 118 School Board member; Danville Historic Commission member; and Governor Bradford Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter officer and state vice-chairman.
